The file's first five sections, comprising sections 1-86, cover the years 1957- April, 1964. Serials 192-989 cover the years period October, 1964- December, 1965. Serials 1534-1881 cover the period August 1966- May 1967. The periods May, 1964 to September 1964, and January 1966 to July 1966 have so far not been included in FBI releases on its web site.
Serials 1-86 and and 192-360 were first released online by the FBI in 2015. Serials 361-989 were released sometime before July, 2017. Serials 1534-1881 were declassified in 2016 and released online sometime after July but before November, 2017.
